Server-side auditable scoring
Server-side lead scoring via event ledger — anonymous website events ingested, scored, and queryable by AI agents without exposing PII.
The challenge
Marketing tracked website engagement across multiple properties but had no unified way to score intent or feed qualified signals to sales. Client-side pixels were inconsistent, and the team needed scoring logic that stayed server-side for privacy and auditability.
Our approach
- Built a server-side event ledger ingesting anonymous page views, form starts, and resource downloads.
- Defined scoring rules by page type, recency, and engagement depth — all computed server-side.
- Exposed scored leads via GrowthPad MCP so Hermes Agent can answer funnel questions in natural language.
- Avoided storing raw PII in the scoring layer; identifiers hashed at ingestion.
- Added dashboards for marketing to validate score distribution before sales handoff.
Results
- Unified lead scoring across all managed websites from a single event ledger.
- AI agents query scored leads without exposing underlying visitor identifiers.
- Marketing and sales share one auditable definition of lead quality.
- Privacy-first architecture — no third-party pixel dependency for core scoring.
